Emmanuel Steward is a hall of fame trailer and he says that he will help Miguel Cotto to win against Manny Pacquiao in November.
Steward, has trained boxing fighters such as Thomas Hearns, Oscar de la Hoya, Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield, and now, rumors say that he is being hired by Cotto to train him.
Steward, however, clarifies:
Up until now, nobody [from Cotto's camp] has communicated with me, but I would love to be able to have the opportunity to work with Miguel.In the meantime, Cotto already began his training early this week at the Abner “Pin” Cotto Boxing Gym in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico.
If we reach an agreement, I don’t have any doubts that Miguel would knock Pacquiao out.
The Cotto vs Pacquiao match will happen on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
